Y547XNW is a Optare Solo M850 and was new to Clarkson of South Elmsall in 2001 for the X12 service between Barnsley & Rotherham to usher out older step entrance buses.
Clarksons withdrew from public service and the operation and vehicles were taken on by First South Yorkshire in 2003. Here it gained the fleet number 53035. It ran in South Yorkshire for many years from all three depots before transferring to Bradford depot in 2014 where it would remain in service until its withdrawal in January 2017.
It entered preservation in March 2017, initially being stored at Keighley Bus Museum. The vehicle moved to the SYTT premises in August 2022.
