History of Eastern National 1602 (B459WHJ)

B459 WHJ is a MCW Metroliner Mark 2 and was new to Eastern National as their 1602 in September 1984. It carried National Holidays and National liveries before passing to Alder Valley as their 1459. It was painted in their black, red and white venetian blind livery before passing through the hands of a number of independents. It was last operated by Vals Classic Coaches before passing in to preservation. This privately owned vehicle arrived at the SYTT in 2017, having been stored in the midlands area for many years.
